Evergreen U12 Girls attended the FAI Soccer Sisters blitz on Sunday 17th May 2015 in the Aviva Stadium. While there they got to mix it with some of the finest teams in Ireland. The excitement was unbelievable all day and they truly displayed great skill and determination in all three of their games.

Despite playing really well they somehow lost the first game 1-0 to Newport. In the second game they showed great spirit and came back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 in against Athenry (scorers for Evergreen were Rose Kelly, Emily Kenny & Emma Delaney). They improved again in their third game once again coming from behind, 2-0 down at one stage, to win 3-2 again trim Celtic (scorers Orla Kenny x 2, Kai McCallum).

It was a special day and one that will live forever with the girls, parents and managers, Brian Kenny, Tom McInerney and Aidan Maher.
