The Annual General Meeting of Evergreen FC took place in the club meeting room last night, October 1st.
The meeting began with the Chairman’s report. James Walsh spoke about the stirling work ongoing both on and off the pitch. He thanked coaches, volunteers, parents and players for ensuring the club continues to grow and maintain the high standards that have been set.
This shows no signs of stopping with further ambitious plans for the future on the horizon.
When it came to the election of club officers Noel Tuohy officially stood down as Club Treasurer. The work Noel has done over the past number of years cannot be overstated. Simply put, Evergreen would not be what it is today without him. The entire club thanks Noel for his work in the role and is thankful that he will continue to be an integral part of the club as we move forward.
In his stead Barry Henderson was elected to assume the Treasurers mantle. Barry has been a key committee member for a number of years and the club is extremely lucky to have someone of his calibre take the reins.
There was no change with the other roles as James Walsh, Niall O’Callaghan and Shane Daly were duly re-elected as Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Secretary.
The meeting concluded with James thanking everyone for attending and reconfirming the focus the committee has on ensuring the continued growth of the club. 🍀⚽️
